Our mission

Why Flowbizz exists

My name is Wisly. I live in Montreal, and Flowbizz is my way of doing my part for Canadafor the world.

I see two big challenges for the countryfor our world.

The first is its productivityproductivity.

The second is the processing of its raw materialsraw materials. Too often, they leave the country raw to be processed abroad instead of being transformed here.Too often, they leave raw instead of being transformed where they are produced.

I want to contribute to both changes, one project at a time.

Where I come from

In Haiti, I studied agronomy in Port-au-Prince, then completed an online MBA. In Jérémie, winnowing rice took a lot of time and money. So I designed equipment to make the work faster in the region. I also turned a refrigerator into an egg incubator, with the help of a local technician.

I coached women's groups in starting agricultural businesses, including one group that produced castor oil. I myself exported castor oil and chili peppers to the United States.

I also improved community financing methods and turned them into better processes. The result was a manual translated into four languages.

Finally, I hosted radio shows and gave free training sessions, expecting nothing in return, to improve living conditions for many people in the region and make a positive impact.

What ties it all together

I take what exists, understand the process, adapt it to the local context, and teach it.

Why “Did you know?”

For now, I can't make a big impact on my community. These t-shirts are my way of starting, my way of contributing to its development with the means I have today.

I call my t-shirts “Did you know?”, and each collection teaches you something: why the black cat was hated, why a French Bulldog suffers from separation anxiety, and more topics to come.

This is my first step, the first way I'm trying to reach more people. Soon, I want to have this impact through other products and in other sectors.

How I choose my clothing

I choose my clothing from the items with the best customer reviews in Printful's catalog. My unisex t-shirts are Bella + Canvas 3001, a model rated by thousands of customers. On each product page, I show you what those customers like and the precautions to take, so you know what to expect.

My priority: Canada firstMy priority: transparency

I want to favor, as much as possible, what is of Canadian origin. Let's be clear: for now, none of my products is made here, in Quebec or in Canada. My t-shirts are printed on demand by a partner that has a facility in Canada.

My goal is to move, step by step, to t-shirts made in Quebec and to wood boards from here. I'll keep you posted on every step forward.

What comes next

For Haiti, my country, I believe the best long-term investment is education. In the meantime, I do my part where I live.

Thank you for being part of the adventure.
